Christian Baulig writes, reads, edits, conceptualizes, combines, sketches, researches, and organizes everything related to words and pictures at brookmedia. As an economist, he feels at ease with all topics connected to business and the economy. And since, in one way or another, everything is connected to the economy, his workdays sometimes alternate between impact funds, meat substitutes, motorhomes, and hydrogen electrolysis. What Christian loves most is developing new concepts together with his team—newsletters, magazines, series, live formats. And nothing makes him happier than seeing their ideas ultimately inspire clients and readers alike.

Before co-founding brookmedia, Christian served as deputy editor-in-chief at the monthly magazine Capital, where he was responsible for editorial planning and the implementation of business and lifestyle stories. Prior to that, he headed the Agenda section—the daily magazine—of the award-winning business newspaper Financial Times Deutschland. At Die Woche, he was responsible for establishing and developing the Private Finance section. Christian is a graduate of the Cologne School of Journalism.
